PTS (Programme & Technical Services)

Programme and Technical Services (PTS) is our project delivery arm. It works across all of our market sectors and is the place where we recruit the majority of graduates each year. PTS comprises ten practice areas, allowing you to gain exposure to all types of client and project. These practice areas are:


Consulting - specialises in business change management, optimisation, shared services, outsourcing and enterprise resource planning.

Solutions Architecture - specialises in the overall technical design of IT solutions of all types, using a range of methodologies such as enterprise architecture, solution architecture and service-oriented architecture.

Information Management - deals with the value, quality, ownership, use and security of information systems from a performance perspective.

Customer Services - develops applications which support the delivery of customer services. The practice helps clients develop innovative new services and delivers large-scale projects.

Case Management – configures and develops the case management systems used by clients. With a particular focus on education, justice and social services, this practice evaluates the often complex needs of clients and ensures that these are met by the case management system.

Quote_ourprogrammes_pts.jpgSecurity & Identity Management - offers a full range of services from consultancy, architecture, implementation and evaluation for all aspects of security and identity management.  

High-integrity systems – configures and develops systems that are highly critical to human life and society. Examples include air traffic management systems, onboard satellite controls and battlefield applications.

Trading, Payments and Settlements – delivers applications that process high-volume financial transactions. Although clients are typically from the banking sector, the practice has recently applied its expertise to other areas, creating a settlement system for utility companies and helping to develop the travel smart card.

Enterprise Applications – develops database applications that coordinate the resources of entire enterprises. Areas of expertise include manufacturing, supply chain management, financials, projects, HR and customer relationship management.

Testing and Transition - specialises in all testing, evaluation, integration, acceptance and transition activities on behalf of clients.
