Graduate programme

In an organisation that places collaboration and innovation at the heart of success, people are paramount. That’s why we’ve invested so heavily in our graduate programme; we want to create the future leaders of Logica.

Graduates here have a range of skills and work in a variety of roles. Some of these roles are highly technical; others are more business focused. We want you to find this programme both rigorous and challenging. But once it’s complete, you’ll be able to shape the future of our clients and your career.

By the time you emerge from this programme, you’ll have acquired a huge amount of exposure to our business. You’ll discover what makes our clients tick and what their needs are. You’ll also understand not just how the many different parts of Logica work, but how our in-depth relationships with our colleagues and clients provides the insight we need to produce smart, integrated solutions to complex business challenges.

Quote_0011_ourprogrammes_graduateprogramme.jpgThe programme itself lasts 18 months. You’ll receive formal tuition and complete a series of business modules via the Open University. And there will be additional technical training if you need it. Much of your day-to-day learning, however, will be on live projects. We believe there’s no substitute for experience and, as such, you can expect to work on a range of assignments. Although some may only take a few days to complete, many will last several months.

So what kind of assignments can I expect work on?

Well, that’ll partly depend on you. Your skills, your interests, your career goals. However, it’ll also depend on the needs of our business and the types of projects we’re working on. Some graduates have helped us develop trading platforms for the energy sector. Others have been involved in satellite technology projects. Still others have found themselves in business development roles, delivering environmental sustainability solutions for clients. The possibilities are virtually limitless.
